A well designed skid plate fits
closely to protect the frame and engine cases. A composite
moulded product can take an exact shape. The use of Kevlar in skid
plate manufacture is unique to E Line. Kevlar disperses impact, has
a longer fatigue life, and greater tensile strength than about any
other material including aluminium. These Carbon/Kevlar skid plates
will withstand many impacts with minimal cosmetic change.
Glide Plates are basically trimmed back Skid Plates. Glide Plates
protect the bottom frame rails and centre engine case. Our Skid
Plates also protect the side engine and water pump cases. Our skids
and glides have a high front to reduce excess engine temperature
from mud build. |
